M.Sc. Biotechnology is a two-year program. It is a course-based Master’s Degree offered under Autonomy and the degree is awarded by Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli. Courses of the Biotechnology program have been carefully selected and coupled with relevant practical training, strongly focusing on employability of the students giving them an interdisciplinary educational experience at International levels. The program incorporates a real-time project which the student undertakes during the final semester. This provides an opportunity for the student to practically apply their knowledge and skills in the context of a well-defined scientific problem.

Post Graduate Diploma In Fermentation Technology

One Year Course offering a thorough knowledge of the bioreactor designs, processes and hands’-on training, which is highly necessary for getting placement in any fermentation-based industry.

Fermentation Facility has with a fully automated 2 Litres and 5 Litres Bioreactor vessels along with all the probes and Control systems.

Concurrent Program for the M.Sc., Biotechnology students at National College, Trichy, providing them opportunity to enhance their skills in Fermentation Technology.

Two –days’ and One-day Hands’-on training workshop has been conducted for six times during the last academic year (2011-12) where in over 120 students from around the state have undergone training in the basic Fermentation operations and downstream processes.
